Everyone wants to feel special. Everyone wants to have faith in others. Everyone wants to believe in fairytales, happy endings and have all bad interactions with others explained. It is easier to sit in denial with your delusions. You have commonsense and intuition, but you didn’t like how it made you feel. You sacrifice choosing to do right, in order to avoid pain. I've been home in Florida this past week. The only time I had off was last week so I spontaneously bought a ticket to Orlando the day before I went. There's something about being home that puts things into perspective for me. I can appreciate NY for what it is. I've been living there for almost 4 years and for some reason the second I stepped off the plane to Florida, I missed it more than ever. I missed the weather, the blue skies, no overcast, the grass, the birds, parking spots. I could easily move back here to buy a home. I went and laid out by the pool like a giant sloth. I went on a swan paddle boat and got out of breath quickly. I saw old friends. It has been such an amazing time. Thank you to my good friend Anthony Benitez for taking these pictures!
